Frequentyly asked questions, and their answers :-
Absolutely. Register, add a property, configure the unit, and start exploring. Right now, our system is still 100% FREE to use. Though we may revisit that in the future. See our Pricing page for details.
Registration is FREE because not everyone who uses our system needs to add a property to their account, and it's properties (that you've added) that we will eventually charge for.
No you don't have to pay. Associates won't ever need to pay for accessing an Associated Property. The owner of the property would (eventually) be paying for the property added to their account, and that includes any Associate accessing it.
There's no limit. But remember, each property will eventuall attract an annual fee. If you're a property manager for lots of properties and you want to use our system, we do have some bulk pricing discounts available, starting at 10 properties and up.
There's no limit. You can associate with your all of your friends, family, staff, agents, etc so long as they have an email account that they can register with.
Yes, you're in control of that. Associates are assigned access and permissions per/property. We understand that a single owner/manager has many associates. We also understand that an associate on your account may actually perform different roles per/property, and we've catered for that in the way that we handle associates and permissions.
You can easily disable all privileges, in one step, on your account for any Associate. If you want to disable privileges for only one property, not all, you can do that too.
No, you only need one account, unless you specifically want to have separate accounts for each owner/property that you work for. When the property owners you work for associate with you, their properties will appear in your properties list as Associated Properties. You can access any of your associated properties, from your single account.
No. They cannot. Only you know which owners/properties you're associated with.
Yes. You can set Associate Permissions so that's all they have access to. This is useful when you don't want to show your calendar publicly on your own website, but you want to allow your associates to check availability without them having to contact you to find the answer.
Yes. Use our API System to display your Availability Calendar publicly in your own website. Viewers could be your staff, or your potential guests, that is, if they can access the page where you embed the Availability Calendar. There is no page 'public' page in our system that shows your calendar.
The Website API configuration pages give you the HTML Code (aka snippet) to copy-and-paste into your website, and explains where to put those lines. It's very simple.
If you're not familiar with updating your own website (ie. by using a CMS like WordPress, Squarespace, Wix etc, or by using a text editor to update your HTML source code), you probably need to let your current web developers insert the HTML Code for you. If that's not possible, we can help you, but there would have to be a small fee involved, and some trust, as we'd need to have access to your website's FTP login details. Use the contact form below if you'd like to discuss this.
Well, that depends on the Service Level that you actually want. Originally, the system was made for users (people like you) to do everything for themselves. Later, we realised that many of you actually like the idea of assistance, from website development, through to enquiry handling and confirmed rentals. See the Service Plan details by clicking the Details buttons next to the Pricing.
Absolutely. It's a web app. It can, and should, run in all of the latest Web Browsers such as Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Internet Explorer and Microsoft Edge across all relevant operating systems; macOS, Windows and Linux. It was designed first and foremost for mobile devices (phones and tablets), for easy access for people on the move, but it works fine in desktop and laptop browsers too.
Yes. No problem at all.
We don't have native apps, but we have developed and tested apps for both platforms using hybrid WebView/WKWebView. We found that our pages are faster via direct Web Browser usage, such as Chrome, Firefox, Safari, than going through the extra layers of an App with WebView. With this in mind, we have held the apps back from public use at this time. We will revisit this later.
If using a mobile device, your web browser of choice usually allows you to add a page to your Home Screen. An alternative is to simply bookmark your preferred entry page in your web browser.
Yes. We have a Light Theme and a Dark Theme (dark mode). We also have a choice of accent colors that you can use to customise the look of the pages you're viewing. The Website APIs also have some color and theming options too.
Please refer to the Pricing page for details.
We do not provide refunds under any circumstances.
GUESTRSVN™ is a reservations management system only. We believe that owners or their managers should be in control of how they collect payments from their guests. It's up to the guest to accept, or discuss with you, the requested method of payment. Once your payment is received, you can update your reservation details accordingly. We will never handle the payments between you and your guests.
Absolutely. Upon receipt of an enquiry, you can begin communicating with your guests by replying to the notification email that we send you. If you want to switch to using Facebook, Messenger, Instagram, LINE, Skype, Telegram etc, that's fine by us. We would hope that you use your common sense about what information you give, or request, when using such platforms, and, that you consider the authenticity of the people you're dealing with!
It's your property - you decide! We can only remind you on the 'political correctness' or 'fairness' of your decision, unlike some platforms who feel it's their role to enforce it.
Please use the Support Area to submit a Support Ticket and explain the details as clearly as possible. Whilst we're not legally authoritve, we might be able to prevent an account, guest or enquirer from causing abuse through our system in the future.
Please do! We have a number of new features already planned in our Roadmap, and you're very welcome to submit your feedback and suggestions for us to consider for inclusion. We're always looking for ways to make the system better for everyone.
